2025 Help Fill Empty Plates Recipients

The Hunger Prevention Coalition of Central Oregon (HPC) has announced the recipients of their 2025 Help Fill Empty Plates support program. These 14 organizations will use the funds specifically to help increase the nutritional content of food provided to the hungry, families, children and elderly by purchasing more fresh produce, milk, eggs and proteins. These same outlets reported serving over 780,000 meals throughout Central Oregon last year alone.

The organizations include Bethlehem Inn, Care & Share, Council on Aging’s Meals on Wheels, Family Kitchen, the Giving Plate, Jericho Road of Redmond, Madras Food Bank, Nativity Lutheran’s Food Bank, Saving Grace, Sisters Kiwanis Food Bank, St. Vincent de Paul of Bend, Redmond, Crook County and LaPine.

The Hunger Prevention Coalition invites anyone interested in learning more about the Help Fill Empty Plates Program, and the grocery stores that display donation opportunities, to visit their website at hungerpc.org or to call 541-408-1978..
